Funding news this week

Community Foundation for Northern Ireland – three key funding opportunities

Funding to support registered charities across Northern Ireland under at least one of the following themes:- Theme 1 – mental health; Theme 2 – community services; and Theme 3 – children.

The Cancer Charities’ Support Fund with a value of £10m is on behalf of the Department of Health and supports a wide range of services for cancer patients throughout NI with grants of between £5,000 and £30,000 for cancer charities. Closes at 1pm on Monday 4th October 2021.

Through the AMIF-FRIS funding, a total of £120,000 will be used to support up to 30 community organisations to develop activities which involve reunited families across three cities: Belfast, Leicester, and Plymouth. Closes at 1pm on Monday 4th October

 

TourismNI: Website Development Programme 2021-2022

The Website Development Programme aims to provide support to experience providers to develop or enhance their websites and digital presence; through the provision of a digital audit and website development plan - that will then be used to support business recovery & growth. Expression of Interest Deadline 3pm on 8th September 2021

Together for Our Planet – new funding from The National Lottery Community Fund

In November 2021, the UK will host the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow. The UK Government’s Together for Our Planet initiative has been created to engage people with COP26 and inspire positive climate action. National Lottery funding will support this by helping communities to take action on climate change. Funding from £1,000 to £10, 000.

Money Saving Expert Charity

The Money Saving Expert Charity funds not-for-profit organisations to deliver activities which make a lasting impact on how people think, behave and manage their money. The September 2021 grant round is targeting and supporting groups who will provide and enable those going though life changing transitions as listed above to become more financially capable.

National Churches Trust: Wolfson Fabric Repair Grants

Awarded by the National Churches Trust, grants will be awarded towards essential fabric repairs at churches in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Gateway Grant Programme for grants up to £100,000 deadline 9th September 2021

Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon (ABC) Borough Council

Financial assistance for eligible groups under Good Relations, Community, and Arts, Culture and Events Grant Programmes.

Closing date for all programmes is 12pm on 10th September 2021.

Department of Justice: Assets Recovery Community Scheme (ARCS)

The ARCS fund is managed by the Department of Justice Protection and Organised Crime Division (POCD) to distribute funding to a wide range of projects that aim to prevent crime, reduce the fear of crime and contribute to safer communities across Northern Ireland.

Application deadline 5pm on 13th September 2021

APEX: Community Involvement Grant Fund

Individual Apex tenants can apply for up to £250 to deliver activities that bring their community together or address an issue that has been highlighted by tenants.  Community groups and non-profit organisations can apply for grants up to £500 towards providing assistance and support to communities in which Apex tenants live.

NEWS - Fundraising Clinics set to relaunch 15th September 2021

Free fundraising advice clinics for members to discuss their fundraising needs to start 15 September 2021. These popular one-to-one clinics provide members with an hour-long opportunity to discuss and address specific fundraising needs and can be delivered online or over the telephone. It’s your time; it’s your choice what to discuss!
