The Theatres Trust/Wolfson: Theatre Improvement Scheme

The Theatres Trust's Theatre Improvement Scheme, in association with the Wolfson Foundation, is a capital fund that awards grants of up to £20,000.

 

The Santander Foundation: Financial & Digital Empowerment Fund

The newly launched Santander Foundation Grants Programme for 2021 to 2024 aims to help people to become digitally and financially empowered with £1.8 million investment into the Financial & Digital Empowerment Fund in 2021. Grants up to a maximum of £150,000 over three years.

 

BBC Children in Need’s summer update

The BBC Children in Need grants programme is for projects that work with children and young people aged under 18 years and who are experiencing disadvantage. The Main Grants 2021 programme offers over £10,000 per year – closing date 11:30am 23 August 2021. Small Grants 2021 programme offers up to £10,000 per year – opens 16 August 2021.

 

Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund grants of between £20,000-£90,000 for 2021

The Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund supports projects that develop museum collections and connect them to people.

 

Alzheimer’s Research UK: Inspire Fund offers three tiers of funding

Alzheimer’s Research UK’s Inspire Fund seeks to support new perspectives, talent and expertise to highlight awareness of dementia. Funding up to £5, 000, £15, 000 or £25, 000. Register for the information webinar on Wednesday 7 July here .  

 

Upcoming deadlines

British & Foreign School Society: UK Projects

BFSS offers funding to improve the educational outcomes and life chances of Young Carers and Care Experienced Young People under the age of 25 living in the UK. Funding is available for one to five years for between £30,000 to £100,000 per project (maximum £30,000 per year for multi-year projects).

 

Closing date: Thursday 8 July 2021

 

NI European Social Fund (ESF) programme

Call three applications is open from 14 June - 9 July 2021. Applications are welcomed from any organisations that can develop and deliver projects that represent value for money and through innovative targeted interventions.

 

Closing date: Friday 9 July 2021 at 12pm (noon)

 

Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council: Community Facilities Fund

Supports minor capital works, repairs and/or implementation of digital solutions to enable groups and organisations to improve income opportunities, make changes to the facility use and/or make the facility more accessible and inclusive to further engage the local community. Grants between £5000 and £10000.

 

Closing date: Friday 9 July 2021 at 1pm

 

The Hospital Saturday Fund

The Hospital Saturday Fund provides assistance for registered health charities, hospices, medical organisations and individuals with a medical condition or disability. Grants can support medical projects, care, research, or support of medical training within the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. Individuals can request help with the purchase of specialised equipment or forms of treatment.
