Home Instead Charities: Grants
Home Instead grants are now open to small grass roots organisations who are not registered as a charity. They will specifically fund activities and projects that further the needs of our ageing adult population through well-being activities and programmes to prevent social isolation and loneliness. They have also lowered their age category to support the over 55’s and will further support organisations by connecting you to one of their local offices so you can build even more support in your local area. Grants of up to £500 for grassroots organisations and £1,500 for small local charities. Four funding windows open each year Applications received in October, processed in November.
The Trust focuses on providing funding which could help small organisations pay for various running costs, such as volunteer expenses, training days, equipment maintenance and other core outgoings. Their funding strategy is to provide long-term core funding for such costs, as they understand that many of the organisations they support depend on unrestricted income in order to meet their operating needs. Grants are unrestricted and range from £300-£2,000. Successful new applicants can expect to receive a grant at the lower end of this scale. No deadlines or standard application form.
Road Safety Trust: Small Grants now open
