The Honourable The Irish Society to Launch New Grant Programmes

The Society is pausing their current grants programme for a short time to allow them to build new programmes which reflect their strategic priorities. The Society’s trustees have approved new future plans that focus on 3 key themes. You can find out more here.

adidas Foundation: Play for Pride - Open Call 

This is an Open Call for grassroots and sport‑for‑good organisations to strengthen LGBTQIA+ inclusion in Spain, UK and Montenegro. Selected organisations will receive multi-year financial support for implementation, structured mentorship from LGBTQIA+ organisations and the opportunity for peer learning across countries. Each selected mentee organisation will receive a multiyear grant of EUR 150,000 over a period of 36 months. Open now until 19 April 2026 at 23:59 CET.

Barclays Community Sport Fund 

The Barclays Community Sport Fund in partnership with Sported offers the Access Grant to support the delivery of football, tennis or cricket activities for women and girls. Not-for-profit organisations, including charities, community groups, youth groups and traditional sports clubs can apply for grants of £1000. Open now until 5pm on 27 May 2026. Their Female coaches for girls grant opens 8 July 2026 at 9am for clubs and groups running run football, cricket or tennis activities to upskill up to two female coaches at your club or group (2 x £200 grants per club). 

Caremark Community Care Fund
Caremark, a home care provider, are supporting community projects across the UK that bring people together and make a positive difference. Three UK-based community groups, charities, and not-for-profit organisations can receive a £3,000 grant each following a public vote. Projects could be for equipment for inclusive sports or activity groups, revamping a village hall or community centre, supplies for a community garden or green space, and more. Deadline 31 May 2026 at 23:59. 

Asda Foundation Local Community Spaces Fund

Local Community Spaces funding is opening soon for Registered Charities and Community Interest Companies with a community building or space that needs repair or renovation. Grants from £10,000 – £20,000. Opens to applications from 14 April 2026 at 10am and closes 28 April 2026 at 10am.

Goldsmiths' Foundation: Open Grants Fund (Spring 2026)

The Goldsmiths’ Foundation supports organisations that focus on vocational skills and training, working at the intersection of creativity and social change. For this Spring 2026 round, they are seeking applications from charities where craft skills are taught or practised. Funding towards operating/core costs or funds for a project and you can apply for a grant between £30,000 - £50,000. Their Open Grants Fund (Spring 2026) is open to applications until Monday 11 May 2026 at 10:00am BST.

Upcoming Deadlines

Founderland: Forward Grant

The Forward Grant provides six grants of €10,000 equity-free funding each quarter to support underrepresented women entrepreneurs across the UK and Europe. Successful applicants also access mentoring, resources and networking opportunities. Next deadline 23:59 Central European Time on March 31, 2026.

The Oak Trust

A small charity, which makes grants of £250 – £4000 to UK registered charities. The Oak Trust supports people who are disadvantaged (in the widest sense), medical and environmental charities. They also support Registered UK charities, working in areas of the world where the needs from deprivation, natural disaster or conflict are beyond what the national government can provide. Spring application deadline: 1st April 2026.

Belfast Harbour Community Awards

Belfast Harbour has launched its 2026 Community Awards programme, offering a total of £110,000 to grassroots organisations across Belfast and beyond, through individual grants of up to £5,000 each. There will be two funding rounds for the Community Awards. Round 1 deadline 3 April 2026.

Rayne Foundation: Better Careers for Better Care

The Rayne Foundation are inviting applications for projects advancing adult social care workforce under their Better Careers for Better Care programme. Through this call they will make up to six grants. Grants will range between £60,000 and £150,000. They are open to receiving Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from voluntary, statutory, and for-profit organisations from 24 March 2026 until 12pm(noon) on 7 April 2026.

Culture Ireland Shared Island Touring, Production and Platforms Fund

Applications are from Arts and cultural organisations, institutions and bodies who have the capacity and demonstrable experience to: Commission, curate and/or deliver artistic projects for domestic (i.e. all-island) touring with potential for additional international presentation; Create platforms to showcase artistic excellence from across the island of Ireland either domestically or internationally; and Have a background in supporting artists from across the island of Ireland. For Strand 2 (i) projects in excess of €10,000 and Strand 2 (ii) in excess of €50,000 considered. Deadline 1pm on 7 April 2026.
