Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon (ABC) Borough Council Community Grants

The third of their funding calls for revenue and capital grants is open until 12 September 2025 (midday). Eligible organisations can apply for grants supporting community development, small scale capital, Good Relations, community events, international tourism, and arts projects. Various funding levels.

The Leche Trust

The Leche Trust offers funding for Performing Arts and Heritage Conservation. Performing Arts (grants typically around £4000) prioritises New Works in Performing Arts and Artists’ Professional Development for UK registered charities or local authority-run venues with a turnover of less than £1.5million per annum. Heritage Conservation funds UK registered charities or public authorities. With grants typically under £5,000, but occasionally larger towards smaller projects, or specific elements of projects. Deadlines for 2025/26 now published; Round 1 closes 1 September 2025.

The Allen Lane Foundation: Young People's Programme

The Allen Lane Foundation offers grants to charities and not-for-profit organisations working with young people aged 12-21 who are socially excluded or marginalised, and who may have experienced significant issues within their lives including vulnerable, socially excluded or marginalised young people with hidden experiences. The total amount they can offer is up to £15,000 over three years, two years, or a single grant. Applications can be submitted at any time. The next meeting where applications will be considered is in February 2026. 

Community Arts Partnership: CEMENT Programme 2025–26

Community Arts Partnership (CAP) is inviting community-based organisations from across Northern Ireland to apply to participate in their CEMENT Programme – Community Engagement, Mentoring, Networking and Training. Successful applicants receive support package including artist mentor, materials budget and agreed project costs covered. They welcome applications from: Community centres, local development groups, cultural organisations, youth projects, residents’ associations, and other grassroots networks, Groups able to commit space, time and staff/volunteer involvement to host and support a project, and Organisations committed to inclusivity, respect, and co-creation with participants. Apply by 4 September 2025 to deliver projects in Autumn 2025 – Spring 2026.

Leathersellers Company Charitable Fund: Small Grants 2025/26

The Leathersellers’ Small Grants Programme 2025/26 will consider applications from charities registered and operating in the UK. The Small Grants Programme is a rolling funding programme for one-off grants of up to £5,000. They aim to re-open in September 2025 and will publish dates at the end of August 2025. Each funding is capped at 40 applications. This is a highly competitive fund - for their last 2024/25 application window which closed in May 2025, they reached the maximum number of 40 applications in less than 30mins.

Arts Council NI: Small Capital Programme

The Arts Council has designed this programme to enable a wide range of organisations to purchase equipment and/or carry out minor works to their premises which will provide opportunities to upgrade equipment and carry out necessary works to ensure they maintain a presence in the arts sector. Grants of up to £25,000 are available. Deadline 28 August 2025 at 12pm(noon).

Henry Smith Foundation Together We Begin

In line with The Henry Smith Foundation’s new strategy, Elevate Your Impact (2025-2030), Together We Begin funds organisations that provide early years parenting support and promote children’s development through sustained, face-to-face work in the home with up to £150k (£40-50k per year). Deadline for EOIs is 5pm on 28 August 2025.

Hope for Youth NI

Hope for Youth NI provide grants of up to £5000 across NI for projects providing opportunities for young people aged 11-18 to come together from different cultural, ethnic or religious communities to work together on a creative, practical or outdoors project. Deadline 31 August 2025

Fermanagh Recreational Trust

The Fermanagh Recreational Trust is open to constituted Sporting and Arts based Organisations or Individuals based in County Fermanagh. Funding supports the organisation, development and funding of sporting / arts based activities and facilities with particular emphasis on young people and youth development. Next deadline 31 August 2025 (5pm).

The Vegan Society Grant

The Vegan Society Grant is open to individuals and grassroots organisations. It exists to support projects which will encourage non-vegans to go vegan and stay vegan. The projects are based across the globe, with a particular emphasis on those based in the Global South. A typical award is £1000 – £5000. Next deadline 1 September 2025.
