The Triangle Trust 1949 Fund wants to hear from you
The Triangle Trust 1949 Fund, a UK-wide grant-giving Trust, is keen to receive more applications from Northern Ireland based organisations for their scheme opening in April 2025. Their focus since 2024 has been to support projects working with young women and girls with a history of offending or who are at a high risk of registering a first offence. Applicants must be a registered charity, a not-for-profit social enterprise or a community interest company working within the UK, with a UK office. There is no maximum annual income threshold for applicants who can apply for grants of between £10,000 and £80,000 for a duration of 12 months to two years. A maximum of £40,000 per year can be requested.
Community Foundation NI: Open RTÉ Toy Show 2025
Thanks to the continued generosity of the Irish public, this year the Appeal raised over €4,800,000 which will be distributed through the RTÉ Toy Show Appeal Grant Rounds in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland until 1pm, 21 March 2025. They welcome applications from registered children’s charities where ‘children’ 0-18 years old form a key part and named in the organisation’s mission statement and organisational purpose/s. Community Grants: Organisations that have an annual income of £20,000 – £500,000 must apply for a Community Grant and grants up to £10,000 will be awarded. Impact Grants: Organisations that have an annual income of more than £500,000 must apply for an Impact Grant and grants up to £35,000 will be awarded. Each grant round will centre around three themes: Addressing Essential Needs, Improving Wellbeing, and Creativity and Play.
Parkinson's UK: Physical Activity Grants 2025
The Parkinson’s UK Physical Activity Grants Programme supports activity providers, communities, networks, organisations and others to develop opportunities for people with Parkinson’s to become and stay active. Grants of up to £3,000 to support physical activity projects for people with Parkinson's all over the UK. The 2025 physical activity grants programme will reopen on Monday 10 March. Join an information session to find out more about the grants, the grant’s criteria and priorities, what they fund and don’t fund, and what the decision making panel will be looking for in an application. Digital Transformation Flexible Fund
The Digital Transformation Flexible Fund can offer eligible businesses and social enterprises help to fund their digital transformation project. Digital technology is transforming the way in which businesses operate, helping them to gain a competitive edge and achieve long term success. The DTFF grants are worth between £5,000 and £20,000 and are designed to help small and micro businesses accelerate their digital transformation ambitions. If eligible, the grant can fund up to 70% of the cost of a project with 30% match funding from the applicant. Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Call 4 are open until 14 March 2025.
Asda Foundation: Young Futures Fund
A new fund supporting grassroots groups to improve mental health and wellbeing for teens and young people (13-21 years) to help build better futures. This funding opportunity, with grants ranging from £500 to £1,000, is to specifically support young people aged from 13-21. The application window for this fund opens on Thursday 27th February (Noon). Applicants must have a total annual income of £250,000 or below, governing documents, a bank account in the group’s name that accepts cheques, and a Safeguarding policy.
Upcoming Deadlines
Ards & North Down Borough Council: In Bloom Funding
Applications are invited from village groups, community associations etc within the Ards and North Down Borough for funding to enable the purchase of bedding plants, shrub and tree material for planting within local villages or towns. The maximum limit for floral funding is £1,000 per annum per group. Deadline 4pm, 27 February 2025.
The National Lottery Heritage Fund
The National Lottery Heritage Fund is the largest dedicated funder of heritage in the UK. Their vision is for heritage to be valued, cared for and sustained for everyone, now and in the future. They can fund heritage projects from £10,000 up to £10million. Grant decision making under their 10-year strategy, Heritage 2033: saving heritage, protecting the environment, inclusion, access and participation, and organisational sustainability. For grants up to £250,000 there is no deadline. For grants over £250,000, submit an Expression of Interest first. Next Deadline for EoIs is 12noon, 26 February 2025, to receive a decision by the end of June 2025
Building the Community Pharmacy Partnership (BCPP)
Building the Community-Pharmacy Partnership (BCPP) is a regional community development programme funded by the Department of Health (DoH), and developed and delivered by CDHN. BCPP’s aim is to reduce health inequalities by focusing on the social determinants of health, in particular social support, community connections and access to healthcare through community pharmacy, and by enabling project participants and the community and pharmacy partners to consider the social factors that impact health (e.g. poverty, housing, and social isolation). Funding range up to £2,500 and £12,000. Deadline: Round 48 Level 1 (BCPP Taster Project) - Thursday 27 February 2025 and Level 2 (BCPP Full project) - Thursday 20 March 2025.
Developing Women in the Community Programme Phase Three 2025 - 2027
Administered by the Department for Communities (DfC) as part of the Fresh Start strategy, the programme is open to community/voluntary/women's groups, charities (registered as a charity with HMRC), other ‘not for profit’ organisations, companies limited by guarantee (registered with Companies House), and public sector/bodies/agencies. The programme will provide women with the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to become influencers and take on roles such as leadership and decision making in their communities for women of all ages and will be delivered within the community, in areas which have been identified as areas of most need. The total cost required from DfC should not exceed £75,000 (subject to budget). This funding is for the period 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2027. Deadline 4pm, 3 March 2025.
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council Community Grant Aid and Events
Community Grant Aid are open for bursaries, seeding, community premises support, community & wellbeing, summer schemes, Good Relations, Irish in the Community, Ulster Scots in the Community, Verti-Draining, Policing & Community Safety, and Project development EoI. Additionally, the Council will support organisations/ event organisers who deliver sustainable events through the SCALE and SPARK event programmes. Deadline 5pm, 12 March 2025 unless otherwise stated.
