Comic Relief: Youth Homelessness & Racial Justice sectors  

Comic Relief is excited to announce the launch a new funding opportunity in the coming weeks with two distinct pathways.  Pathway 1: Seeks to fund organisations providing wrap-around support to young people aged 16–25 who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness.  Pathway 2: Seeks to fund organisations that have the ambition and experience to advance racial justice through influence and advocacy within the homelessness sector, by challenging the systems and structures that create and sustain racial inequalities.  Further funding criteria is being developed. More information about the funding and the application process will be made available w/c 30th March 2026.  Applicants must be UK-based voluntary or community organisations with relevant experience.

Leathersellers’ Company Charitable Fund: ACEs Main Grants

Now in its fifth year, the Leathersellers’ Main Charity Grants Programme aims to help prevent and address the harm of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). Four year grants of £20,000-£25,000 per annum are available to charities and CIOs throughout the UK. Funding is unrestricted. The term ACEs is to recognise traumatic events that occur during childhood that can have a significant impact on a person’s physical, emotional and mental health throughout their life. Deadline for submitting Expression of Interest is 5pm on Thursday 30 April 2026. 

Road Safety Trust: Large Grants

UK-based legally constituted organisations (charities, public sector organisations, universities, companies and professional organisations) are eligible to apply for grants over £50,000 and up to £200,000. This round is themed and seeks to address two priority areas: Preventing harm linked to drug-impaired driving and motorised riding and Safer vehicles. Eligible projects might include evidence reviews, trials, rollouts, evaluations and support for the profession through guidance or other resources. The Programme opens for Expressions of Interest (EOI) at 9am on 7 April 2026. Closing date for submitting EOIs is 5pm on 5 May 2026. 

Rayne Foundation: Better Careers for Better Care

The Rayne Foundation’s purpose is to effect and promote positive social change through grants and partnerships. Support focuses on children and young people, refugees and asylum seekers, and people in later life and their carers. They are inviting applications for projects advancing adult social care workforce under their Better Careers for Better Care programme. Through this call they will make up to six grants. Grants will range between £60,000 and £150,000. They are open to receiving Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from voluntary, statutory, and for-profit organisations from 24 March 2026 until 12pm(noon) on 7 April 2026.

Co-op Foundation: Green Opportunities Fund

Their £2.2m Green Opportunities Fund is a partnership between the Co-op Foundation and Co-op which will fund organisations across the UK that are supporting young people to consider green careers. The fund will run for three years, the first of which will be a pilot year to test approaches. Following this launch in Spring 2026, there will be another opportunity to apply in 2027, and a final round in 2028. Applicants can apply for between £50,000 and £100,000 for their project - full cost recovery encouraged. Charities, CICs, Co-operatives, and Community Benefit Societies can apply. Deadline 12pm(noon) on 17 April 2026.

Do it Now Now - Innovate Now with Wellcome

Do It Now Now, in partnership with Wellcome, has launched a pioneering grant and capacity-building programme that provides £13,000–£48,000 in multi-year funding to strengthen Black-led leadership in the UK research sector. Open to black-led charities, community interest companies, limited companies, and other organisations. There are two rounds in 2026. For Round 1, submit Expressions of Interest by 25 March 2026.

Building the Community Pharmacy Partnership (BCPP)

BCPP’s aim is to reduce health inequalities by focusing on the social determinants of health by focusing on social support, community connections and improved access to healthcare through community pharmacies. Level 1 – Taster Project (up to 6 months) offers up to £2,500 to explore partnership working, project management, and community engagement. Level 2 – Full Project (up to 12 months) offers up to £12,000 to deliver a deeper, more sustained community development initiative. Round 50 closing date for Level 2 is 26 March 2026.  

Belfast City Council: Summer Community Diversionary Programme

Their Summer Community Diversionary Programme (SCDP) 2026-2028 is open for applications. The SCDP provides funding to eligible community-based groups in Belfast to develop diversionary activities or programmes that celebrate positive cultural expression. The programme is now being delivered as a multi-annual funding model between 2026-2028. Previous round offered grants between £25,000 and £100,000 to eligible groups. The closing date to apply for funding is 5pm on Monday 30 March 2026.

Veterans' Foundation Standard and Salary Grants

The Veterans’ Foundation provides grants to eligible organisations that provide assistance to serving and former members of the armed forces community, operational qualified seafarers and their immediate families.  Standard Grants value £5,001 to £30,000.  Salary Grants value: up to £25,000 per year for up to three years (Max £75,000). Deadline for both is midnight on 30 March 2026.

The Fore

The Fore offers a maximum unrestricted grant size of £45,000 which is designed to have a transformational impact on your whole organisation, supporting growth, structure, sustainability or efficiency alongside The Fore’s additional support. Summer 2026 registration will be open for one week - from 12pm (midday) on Wednesday 25th March to 12pm (midday) on Wednesday 1st April 2026. During this window, you will be able to find the link to register your interest on their webpage.
