BBC Children in Need: Youth Social Action Fund

This funding will support organisations to bring social action and youth empowerment opportunities to children and young people, to help prevent or overcome the effects of the disadvantages they face. To apply to this fund, you must sign up to a one-hour information session. Find out more here.

Rank Foundation: Pebble Grants

Pebbles is their small funding stream for UK registered charities and recognised churches which are raising money for projects where the total cost is less than £150,000. This money can be spent on short breaks, equipment, or capital costs (refurbishment or minor building work). Grants range from £250 up to and including £4,000. Quarterly decisions.

Ards & North Down Borough Council: Good Relations Grants

The Good Relations Grants scheme is run annually for community groups and voluntary organisations in Ards and North Down involved in improving relationships between diverse groups of people.  Provides grants of up to £1000. Deadline 4pm on 7th April 2022.

Road Safety Trust: Small Grants Plus Programme

This grants programme supports their strategic priority - Pilots that test. The main aim of the Small Grants Programme is to improve road safety at a local level. The programme was designed after reviewing their first four years of funding and listening to the views of stakeholders. This told them that there was a need for funding for smaller, local projects with a practical focus. Opens to applications 22nd March 2022.

Canoe Foundation funding pot open for applications

The latest round of grant funding from the Canoe Foundation now open for projects in need of funding up to £10,000 for access and environment related improvements for recreational water users.

Upcoming Deadlines

Access Sport: Kids on Bikes

To kick-start a collaboration between Access Sport and the Cycle Speedway Commission they're offering £200 grants to help clubs attract new riders and make sure no child gets left behind.

Deadline 24 March 2022.

Building the Community Pharmacy Partnership (BCPP)

The programme aims to promote and support local communities to work in partnership with community pharmacists to address local health and social wellbeing needs using a community development approach.

Deadline for Round 42, Level 2 is 24 March 2022.

The Fat Beehive Foundation: Digital Funding for Small Charities

They fund charities with an average income of less than £1 million a year with highly specialised grants up to £2,500. They provide small grants for websites and digital products to other small UK registered charities.

Deadline 5pm on 31 March 2022.

Community Foundation for Northern Ireland

Numerous funding schemes with upcoming deadlines (see website for details).

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council: Grants for Groups

Grants are available for qualifying groups throughout the Council area. Grants include equipment, capital, community development, environment, events, training, and sports.

Deadline 23:59 0n 28 March 2022.
