PEACEPLUS Investment Area 6.1 Strategic Planning and Engagement
They are now accepting applications to PEACEPLUS Investment Area 6.1 Strategic Planning and Engagement, with a total value of €6 million in funding available.
This investment area supports activity that will reduce the legal and administrative barriers to cross-border co-operation through joint development and management of strategies; co-operation capacity building; and identification of solutions.
This is the fourth and final call in this investment area. Applications must be received no later than 5pm on August 28, 2026.
Derry Strabane Local Economic Partnership: Enterprise Partnership Fund Scheme
Funded by the Department for the Economy. Supporting innovative and experimental enterprise development delivered in partnership with the LEP. Grants up to £15,000 with a min 25% match funding. Applications are invited from experienced organisations operating within the enterprise, business support, innovation or economic development ecosystem. Now open to applications until 12noon on 16 July 2026.
Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council Funding for Community Facilities
The Community Facilities Fund (CFF) is a grant funding programme designed to support projects that enhance existing community facilities, aiming to increase accessibility, social cohesion, engagement opportunities and participation. This fund is an opportunity to invest in infrastructure and resources that strengthen community connections and benefit local residents. Up to £15,000 available. The DIY & Technical Assistance Community Fund enables local groups to refresh, refurbish or make general improvements to existing community facilities and/or commission professional/technical assistance to explore the potential of expansion and/or upgrades to facilities. The closing date for receipt of applications to both funds is 12 noon on Tuesday 30th June 2026.
Unveiled in May 2026, the Foundation will be offering a newly created fund to harness outdoor recreation and sport as a force in pursuit of a healthier planet and more active, inclusive communities. Funded by an annual donation of €1 million from ISPO, the world’s leading sports and outdoor trade fair, the ISPO Impact Foundation will channel that support directly to charities and non-profits around the world already delivering real impact on the ground. Two categories will be funded - nature conservation & environmental stewardship (regeneration) and active participation & inclusive access (participation). Funding from €2000 for grassroots organisations up to €100 000 for those with the potential for significant, large-scale impact. Next deadline 30 June 2026 at 12.00 noon BST / 13.00 CEST.
The Roger David Burrows Music Fund Small grants
The Roger David Burrows Music Fund provides small grants to inspire people of all ages to get involved with music. The Aim of the Fund is to advance the education of the public in the subject of music, to encourage people to get involved with making music and give support to those already involved in music. Grants are only open to United Kingdom (UK) based groups/societies/organisations/schools. Grants will generally be of up to £150, e.g., towards the cost of instruments, music or equipment. Postal applications should be sent by 1 January 2027. Applications can be sent at any time during the year but will not be considered until after the January deadline.

The Hospital Saturday Fund is a registered charity whose aims are to provide assistance for registered health charities, hospices, medical organisations and individuals with a medical condition or disability. They can provide grants for medical projects, care, research or support of medical training within the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. Standard grants of up to £2,000 or €3,000 OR Large grants of up to £10,000 or €13,500 (maximum grant). Next deadlines: Standard Grant 14 July 2026; Large Grant 16 June 2026.
The King George VI Youth Awards funds youth work projects in Northern Ireland for young people aged 14-21. The group must be based in Northern Ireland, and your project must be part of a curriculum based youth work programme, linked to the Youth Work Curriculum. Grants of up to £500. Applications are also accepted from individual young people who must be resident in Northern Ireland. Completed applications should be submitted by 5pm on stated deadline. For 2026 - Tuesday 16 June 2026.
Belfast City Council: Local Community Ownership Fund
A new £1.5 million fund to support organisations across Belfast to invest in the transformation of community places and spaces is now open to applicants. Belfast City Council’s Local Community Ownership Fund (LCOF) aims to support local groups with the acquisition of community assets, or existing derelict sites, for viable and sustainable community use, allowing them to invest in their community and improve local economic outcomes. Funding split: North - £370,276, South - £297,418, East - £337,810, West - £494,496. This Includes £104,091 for the Shankill Area. Expression of Interest will close on Wednesday 17 June 2026 at 12 noon.
In 2026, to mark 60 years of the AIB brand in the Republic of Ireland, the bank will make a one‑off additional contribution of €60,000 to the Community Fund. This will provide an extra €10,000 for each region, (£10,000 in Northern Ireland and Great Britain region). The funds received by the top six awardees in Greater Dublin, Rest of Leinster, Munster, Connacht and Ulster (ROI) is €20,000. In the Northern Ireland & Great Britain region, there will be seven awardees who will each receive £15,000. Nominations close 19 June 2026.
Sports Governance Academy (SGA): Board Development Fund
The SGA Board Development Fund enables organisations operating in the sport and physical activity sector in the United Kingdom to access - free of charge - development training for their board members which can be customised, if required, and delivered in-house (either in-person or online). It allows organisations successful in the application process to identify areas of need or areas of particular focus for them which are not catered for by existing training provision. Submit applications by 21:00 on 19 June 2026.
