Community Relations Council (CRC) Core Funding
The Northern Ireland Community Relations Council's Core Funding Scheme provides support for organisations which are considered of strategic importance in promoting community relations work across the region. The scheme contributes towards salary and organisational running costs. The amount awarded per organisation normally ranges between £20,000 and £80,000 per annum. Currently open for applications. Deadline 12 November 2025 at 4 PM.
Linking Generations NI: Intergenerational Christmas Small Grants
This funding aims to create festive connections across generations and between organisations that wouldn’t normally work together. Christmas and the festive season spirit offers a great opportunity to develop connections and make a difference in our communities. LGNI’s vision is that these connections and relationships will continue into the future. Small grants are £125. Scheme is now open until 28 October 2025 at 12pm(noon).
The Naturesave Trust will consider applications for specific projects focused on environmental projects. They have a funding pot of around £25,000 – 30,000 for each window. They offer grants up to £5,000. The October – November is open now until 27 November 2025 at 12pm(noon). They’re inviting applications from charities, community groups, and organisations looking to boosting biodiversity activities based in the UK.
Hospice UK: Dying Matters Community Grants Programme
The Dying Matters Community Grants Programme – supported by Dignity Funerals – funds creative community projects that start conversations about death and grief. The Programme funds new and creative ways to spark those important conversations in communities across the UK. The grant programme focusses on working with people who they know are least likely to have already had access to existing models of support. Grants of up to £10,000 are available to cover the costs of projects using arts and culture to open up the conversation about death and dying. Deadline 5pm, 5 December 2025.
The WCIT Charity funds registered charities and organisations with a formal not-for-profit constitution such as a community interest company. All projects they fund must make use of information technology and must relate to one or more of their priority areas - education, inclusion, IT for charities, and public understanding of IT. Grants typically up to £15,000. Next deadline 5pm, 22 October 2025.
The Boring Fund is a grassroots funding initiative helping small non-profit organisations cover some of the boring but essential costs that keep them running such as insurance, web hosting, admin time, etc - the stuff that’s always so hard to find funding for. The application process is intentionally simple and there's little to no reporting. Each grant is £200 in the UK version and will open for applications in November.

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council: Community Capital for Community Facilities and Minor Items
Council invite applications for financial assistance from the community and voluntary sector (i.e. not-for-profit) to support capital infrastructure projects for Community facilities across the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council area. Funding Threshold: £10,000 - £75,000; 75% match funded. The Council is also providing contributions of up to 100% of the costs towards funding (max £5,000) towards funding of Minor Capital Items to assist with the running of a community facility or technical assistance to develop or enhance a community facility. Deadline 7 October 2025, 12pm(noon).
Arts & Business NI: Investment Programme
Arts & Business NI has opened their Investment Programme which helps organisations ignite long-term partnerships, reach new audiences, connect with communities, support business solutions, and deliver world-class arts and culture. The initiative provides a maximum of £15,000 to an artist or arts partner in any one financial year (April to March) or for any one project; a partnership can receive investment a maximum of two times. Five rounds are opened annually: next deadline 7 November 2025.
£1.8million Rural Micro Capital Grant Scheme 2025/2026 opens for applications
DAERA Minister Andrew Muir MLA has announced that a new £1.8million Rural Micro Capital Grant Scheme (RMCGS). Capital grants between £500 and £2,000 will be available to rural voluntary and community organisations and Social Economy Enterprises to fund projects tackling locally identified issues of poverty and/or social isolation. The Scheme closes for applications 12.00pm midday on Monday 20 October 2025.
Belfast City Council: Cultural Multi-annual Grants 2026-28
Belfast's 10-year cultural strategy 2020-2030, A City Imagining, provides a new investment model for culture with the aim of sustaining and developing accessible cultural activity and infrastructure across Belfast. Minimum £10,000 up to Maximum £50,000. This is a two year grant. The submission deadline for receipt of applications is 12 noon on 10 October 2025.
Community Foundation NI opens six Community Benefit Funds:
The Foundation are pleased to announce that the following funds have opened for applications: Cloonty Community Benefit Fund, Dunbeg Community Benefit Fund, Monnaboy Community Benefit Fund, Carn Hill Community Benefit Fund, Corby Knowe Community Benefit Fund, and Dunmore Community Benefit Fund. Funding from up to £2,500 to up to £6,000; closing 23 October 2025 at 1pm. The Micro Community Investment Fund offering up to £2,000 has also reopened (no deadline).
