Funding News
The Schroder Charity Trust accepts applications towards under two objectives. Objective (1): Enabling children and young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds to thrive and achieve their potential in education and employment. Objective (2): Strengthening communities through services and opportunities which enhance the wellbeing and life outcomes of vulnerable and disadvantaged people. The Trust typically makes grants of up to £5,000 towards core and project (restricted) costs to charities registered in the UK. The next deadline is 5pm, 28 August 2026. This is the second of their two annual funding rounds.
The Gallaher Trust aims to support a small number of high value projects over a longer-term period (of up to three years) in Job Creation and/or Skills Development Projects which will help the development of both new and existing businesses (individual project value normally not less than £50,000 per annum and project expected to create 20 full time jobs over a three-year period). And projects supporting Disadvantaged Adults (individual project value around £10,000 - £20,000 per annum). Applications for 2027 are currently open (no deadline published). The Trust has an annual budget of around £350,000 for grant awards.
Esmee Fairbairn Foundation: Youth-led Creativity Fund
Their new Youth-Led Creativity opens soon. Co-designed with Esmée's Involving Young People Collective, support will focus on arts and culture organisations based and working in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland; and where the work is led by, and for, young people underrepresented in arts and culture. The fund will accept applications on a rolling basis, but they expect to make 12 to 16 grants over the next two years. VocTech Together Support Programme
This is new funding and support to adopt learning technology that works. If you’re looking to improve how adults gain skills for work and think technology could help, a new programme from Ufi VocTech Trust offers practical support and funding to help you move forward with confidence. The VocTech Together Support Programme provides 10 weeks of expert input, peer learning and one-to-one mentoring to help you define your skills challenge and how technology might help, explore relevant options, and develop a clear plan for action. The programme focuses on practical steps and low risk testing, supporting you to make informed decisions about what could work for your organisation. Up to 40 organisations can take part in the programme, with grant funding of up to £10,000 available per organisation to support your participation. Applications are open from 6 to 20 July 2026.

National Churches Trust grants for repairs
Large Grants are for large urgent structural repair projects costing over £80,000 and for projects to install or upgrade kitchens and toilets costing over £30,000. Wolfson Fabric Repair Grants are for Grade I and II* (or A or B+ in Northern Ireland, and Grade A or B in Scotland) churches – for fabric repairs. Historic places of worship can apply for a Wolfson grant via their Medium and Large grant applications – additional eligibility criteria apply and subject to the same deadlines. Large grants deadline 7 July 2026.
Royal Philharmonic Society: RPS Thea Musgrave Fund - Performance Grants
A major initiative encouraging UK performances of Thea Musgrave’s music, made possible by the RPS Thea Musgrave Fund. This year, they expect to offer a total of £25,000 in grants, likely split between 3 to 5 recipients, with grants in the region of £5,000 to £10,000 each. Grants are for established UK-based performers and organisations that produce classical music performances in the UK. Closing date is 11am on Tuesday 7 July 2026.
The Fore offers unrestricted funding to small charities and social enterprises with a turnover under £500,000. They offer a maximum grant size of £45,000 which can be spread over three years. Combined with additional support for organisations, the grant is designed to have a transformational impact on your whole organisation, supporting growth, structure, sustainability or efficiency. Three funding rounds per year (Spring, Summer and Autumn) which open for registration for one week only. Registration for the Autumn 2026 round will open on 8 July (noon) and close on 15 July 2026 (noon).
The MSE Charity is funded by Money Saving Expert and gives grants to not for profit organisations that deliver activities which make a lasting impact on how people think, behave and manage their money. Project grants will be available up to £10,000. Their Summer 2026 grant round is now open until 5pm on 13 July 2026.
