TESCO funding opportunities
TESCO: Fruit & Veg Grants - Tesco’s Fruit & Veg Grants programme invites schools, registered charities and not-for-profit organisations supporting children to apply for up to £1,500 to improve access to fruit and veg. Every four months, three local projects are selected to be in the customer vote in Tesco stores throughout the UK. Rolling programme - no deadline. The £5,000 community pledge - Tesco and easyfundraising have come together again to give a little help to voluntary groups, charities and CICs this May. Tesco will donate five £1,000 funding pots to community organisations across the UK who are using easyfundraising. Register your cause for every online order completed between 00:01 on 1st May 2026 and 23:59 on 31st May 2026 via the easyfundraising website, app or donation reminder to count. Purchases now include F&F Clothing.
The Co-Ownership Community Fund supports projects that have a positive social impact in the lives of individuals, neighbourhoods, or communities in Northern Ireland. The Fund has a budget of £20,000 per annum allocated at their discretion. For the 2026/27 Community Fund they want to support a project (or projects) which will Regenerate, rebuild, and revitalise neighbourhoods and communities; Support disabled people; and/or Encourage energy efficiency, biodiversity, sustainability, and the circular economy. They particularly welcome applications from small community based and/or volunteer led organisations. Deadline 29 May 2026 at 5pm.
The Pink Ribbon Foundation Grants
The Pink Ribbon Foundation provides grants of up to £6000 for practical projects and initiatives, which aim to help registered charities to deliver good physical and mental health to individuals with, and recovering from breast cancer. They expect projects that receive funding to be delivered within 12 to 18 months. To be considered for a grant in 2026, please submit your grant application to the Foundation by Friday 31st May 2026. Grants are awarded annually in late July.
Education Authority NI open grants
The Local Non Targeted/Generic Youth Provision Funding is currently accepting applications until 22 May 2026 at 4pm. Funding is for EA registered youth organisations whose youth work is delivered by volunteers for example, uniformed organisations, church based organisations. Funding is based on the hours of programme delivered and the average attendance of young people. Funding is a contribution to your running costs such as heat and light, insurance, and curriculum Materials.
The Henry Smith Foundation: Holiday Grants for Children
The Holiday Grants Programme offers one-off grants for schools, youth groups and non-profit organisations to take children aged 13 and under on recreational day trips or short residential trips. They prioritise groups supporting disabled children and those with limited access to funds to go on holiday. In 2024, 60% of grants went to organisations working in the UK’s most deprived areas. Grant amount: £500 – £3000 per trip. Applications for trips between 1 May and 30 September 2026 are open from 20 March and 19 August 2026. Apply at least 6 weeks before the trip.

Ards & North Down Borough Council: PCSP Small Grants
The PCSP Small Grants Scheme is an opportunity for local community and voluntary groups to develop community-led projects that address local safety concerns, including hate crime, cybercrime, road safety, anti-social behaviour, drugs & alcohol issues, and other relevant community safety concerns. Applicants may apply for any amount between £1000 and £4000. Deadline 4pm on 6 May 2026.
Music for All: Awards for Schools and Community Groups
Music for All offers financial grants and instrument awards to individuals, schools and community groups. Round 2 is now open and offers instrumental awards to community projects, schools and individuals in the following categories Electro acoustic guitars (to suit varying abilities/levels), Pbuzz instruments, Ukuleles, Keyboard bundles, Drum kits, and Orange crush mini amps. Applications should be received by 12 noon on Thursday 7 May 2026.
Heritage Crafts: Endangered Crafts Fund
The Heritage Crafts Endangered Craft Fund offers financial assistance (up to £2,500) to individuals and organisations who practice an endangered craft. Their primary aim is to provide small amounts of funding to remove a barrier or enable the practice and the passing on of skills in these at-risk crafts. Crafts should be listed as endangered or critically endangered on the current Red List of Endangered Crafts). Deadline 8 May 2026 at 5pm.
The James Tudor Foundation, an independent grantmaker, supports a diverse range of physical health and mental health charities in the UK and internationally. Grants of up to £25,000 are available, usually awarded for one year, but they do occasionally offer funding for up to three years. Their October 2026 round now open until 8 May 2026.
Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council: Tak£500+
Tak£500+ is a Participatory Budgeting initiative which basically means that local people get to decide how public funds are used to address needs in their area. Both constituted groups and non-constituted groups can apply for funding of up to £1000 for a project they think will benefit their area. Deadline midnight on 10 May 2026.
