Together for Families - Information Sessions
The Together for Families Team is hosting online information sessions for organisations interested in applying for funding to deliver Enhanced Family Support Services under the Together for Families model. Together for Families is a partnership model that will transform how children, young people and families are supported across Northern Ireland marking a shift from reactive, high-cost statutory intervention to earlier, community-based support.
Skipton Building Society Charitable Foundation
The Skipton Building Society Charitable Foundation supports registered charities throughout the UK. The Foundation has identified two focus areas through which it aims to drive social impact. Helping people experiencing hardship and/or underserved groups to access a place to call home and improve financial wellbeing. The trustees will select charities based on their alignment with one or both focus areas. The Foundation has committed to fund UK registered charities up to a maximum of £5,000. Reopens 1 September 2026 at 9am.
GC Gibson Charitable Trust Grants
The GC Gibson Charitable trust was established in 1968 by George Gibson by a grant of shares in his shipping business. The Charity offers grants of between £1,000 and £10,000 to a wide range of charities. Application is only by online form which is open yearly from the 1 August to the end of September. In 2025, they supported capital or product purchases for UK registered charities in the areas of education, sport, conservation, of social inclusion, and of physical and mental health for all ages anywhere in the world. Woodroffe Benton Foundation: Small Grants
The Woodroffe Benton Foundation supports UK registered charities with an annual income of less than £750,000, who have been operating for at least two years with a one-off grant of between £500 and £2,500 for projects that improve the quality of life and social engagement for people with severe physical and/or learning disabilities within the UK. Round 2 is focused on projects that support people, particularly those with physical or learning disabilities, to access the natural world and spend time outdoors. Applications will be accepted from 1 August to 31 August 2026.
Upcoming Deadlines
The National Lottery Heritage Grants £250,000 to £10million
Funding projects that connect people and communities to the national, regional and local heritage of the UK, the National Lottery Heritage Grants supports all types of heritage projects in the UK with grants of up to £10 million which can cover volunteer expenses, new staff posts and training costs, capital works, repair, maintenance and more. Next quarterly deadline 12noon, 6 August 2026, to receive a decision by end of December 2026.
The Robert McAlpine Foundation Grants
The Foundation gives grants to support small charities situated throughout the UK that fall within specific categories - namely children, youth, the elderly, social and medical research. They particularly like to support projects where their funding can make a real difference. Grants typically under £5000. The Trustees meet annually in November to approve grants. Apply by 7 August 2026 to be considered for inclusion in the next meeting.
GSK Community Health Programme
The GSK Community Health programme supports small charities to tackle health inequalities. Registered charities that are at least a year old, located and working in the UK with a total annual income between £20,000 and £150,000 can apply. Organisations led by and supporting the most disadvantaged communities – such as those supporting ethnic minority communities, people with disabilities, people from the LGBTQ+ community, and others – are encouraged to apply for this programme. Up to 10 charities will receive up to £10,000, plus access to training and development valued at £5,000. Deadline is 5.00pm on 10 August 2026.
As an IT charity, all projects they fund must make use of information technology and must relate to one or more of their priority areas - education, inclusion, IT for charities, and public understanding of IT. Grants typically up to £15,000. The next deadline is 5pm on August 14, 2026, with decisions made by the end of September.
