Pink Ribbon Foundation grants for any charity working in breast cancer support
Grants of up to £6,000 are available to UK charities and not-for-profit organisations working on practical projects and initiatives supporting improved the physical and mental health of individuals with or recovering from breast cancer. For 2025, their priority is to fund organisations with limited financial resources to deliver their services. Higher grants may be awarded in special cases. Deadline 30 May 2025. Grants are awarded annually in late July.
ncat Scaling Innovation Programme: £1.5m to enhance transport accessibility for disabled people
The ncat Scaling Innovation Programme offers any organisation, individual, or entrepreneur funding towards innovative solutions that enhance transport accessibility for disabled people. Applicants should address their Challenges – physical barriers in the street, interactions with other people or an open call for other ideas. Grants are allocated by self-assessment of your proposal maturity level and can be either up to £50k, up to £100k, or up to £150k. Deadline 19 December 2024 (5pm).
Strategic Legal Fund advancing justice for migrants in the UK
The SLF funds strategic legal work in any area of law where migrant groups experience disadvantage or discrimination as a result of migration status. They define this as work where the impact is likely to go beyond an individual case, and to result in changes to law, policy and practice that will benefit a wider group of people. Not-for-profits and solicitor firms can apply for up to £30,000 although typical grant size is £12,000. Next deadlines 27 January 2025 and 31 March 2025.
Amazon Literary Partnership 2025
Amazon Literary Partnership (ALP) is back for its sixth year after five successful years providing grants to literary organisations that encourage and champion writers of all ages and stages across the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Northern Ireland’s Fighting Words received a grant in 2024. Deadline 31 January 2025 (23:59).
Fight for Sight: The Capacity Building Fund
The capacity building funding is designed to support the creation of a sight loss sector that is coherent, sustainable, and resilient to the rising demand for equal service provision across the UK. Focusing on two key areas: Collaboration between organisations within the sight loss sector and between the sight loss sector and external organisations and small charities and grassroots organisations, funding of between £10,000 and £20,000 is available for registered organisations offering offer services to blind and partially sighted people directly. Funding supports capacity and may contribute to core costs, mergers, strengthening of systems and processes, and other areas. Deadline 7 January 2025 (9am).
Tenth and final Charity Governance Awards
These are the only charity awards designed to celebrate trustees, are free to enter (with a free awards ceremony), and do not generate profit for the sponsors or partners. Their mission is to encourage and celebrate success in charity governance. For the 10th anniversary of the awards, they have five categories intended to showcase the work trustees do to help charities respond to emerging challenges and fulfil their missions. They’ve also increased the grand prize for winners to £6,000 (£1,500 for runners-up). Deadline to submit nominations 12 February 2025 (noon).

Warrenpoint Harbour: Community Christmas Fund 2024
Local charities and organisations within 15-mile radius of Warrenpoint Port can apply for £500 or less; larger requests may be considered. They want you to tell them in 100 words or less how you would use the money by the end of 2025 for the good of the local community. Deadline 6 December 2024 (5pm).
Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust: Fulfilling Futures Programme 2024/25
This programme offers grants of between £50,000 and £100,000 to improve the quality of life through targeted support for Veterans who have experienced significant, negative impact, which is evidenced to be related to their experience during Service. Deadline 4 December 2024 (noon).
The Young Gamechangers Fund is a £4.5m partnership between the Co-op Foundation, Co-op and the #iwill Fund that's putting young people in charge of change. One-year grants of up to £20,000 are available for both individuals and groups or organisations, along with one year of support from their delivery partners, The Young Gamechangers Fund is delivered by the Global Fund for Children and Restless Development. Deadline to complete eligibility quiz 4 December 2024; Application deadline 6 December 2024 (5pm).
Belfast City Council: Social Supermarket Support Fund
The aim of a social supermarket is to offer a sustainable response to food insecurity by seeking to help address the root causes of poverty rather than simply provide food. To be eligible to apply for this funding you must be a community, voluntary or social enterprise organisation which provides services for the benefit of people living in the Belfast City Council area. The Social Supermarket Support Fund can provide funding up to a maximum grant of £50,000. Deadline 6 December 2024 (noon).
The Fore’s Spring 2025 funding round – registration closes early December
The Fore fund small charities that make a big impact through unrestricted grants up to £30,000 over 3 years to help applicants grow, strengthen, become more efficient or resilient. Applicants can be in any location or sector, but need to be Registered Charities (including those constituted as charitable trusts, charitable unincorporated associations, charitable incorporated organisations and charitable companies limited by guarantee), Community Interest Companies (CICs) limited by guarantee, or Community Benefit Societies with an annual revenue of less than £500k. Register to apply from 4 December 2024 (noon) until 11 December 2024 (noon).
