Comic Relief launches new funding strategy

Comic Relief has announced further details of its new funding strategy will be making new grants supporting this strategy which aims to have a greater impact on those facing poverty and inequality.

The charity has outlined key areas of focus:

• Effects of Poverty programme will fund work that enables people who bear the brunt of poverty to build community-led solutions and overcome the many problems they face.
• Tackling Injustices programme funds organisations and movements working with the most marginalised communities to reduce the structural barriers that keep people in poverty
• Climate Justice programme will support people living in poverty who are most harmed by climate change
