"The new forum will give an opportunity for people to share ideas, ask questions, debate issues and generally network in a way we have not been able to offer before", said Neil Irwin, Member Services Manager at NICVA.
The new Group is free to join and complements the fundraising advice service already offered by NICVA from its offices in Duncairn Gardens.
"We have been able to offer support to people looking for funding by phone, email and through personal consultation for years - but with the launch of Groups on CommunityNI we can now have a forum specifically for fundraising information" Neil added.
To join the new group simply visit www.communityni.org and set up your own profile. You will then have the option of joining the Fundraising Information Group and any others you are interested in.
