NICVA is adding its general fundraising news via the new Fundraising Information Group on www.communityni.org. It is free to join by creating a profile on communityNI and signing up to the group.

Over the coming months Grant Tracker will be more and more dedicated to information grant funding opportunities and guidance with information on fundraising from the general public and trading activity cover on communityNI in the fundraising group.

If you don't join you could miss news on fundraising news, discussion and resources beyond that of applying for a grant. Did you know for example NICVA is working on a campaign called "Will to Give" which brings charities together to promote the giving of gifts to charities in wills. NICVA is also working on proposals for a donor management database that would be accessible and affordable (and free if we can make it so).

The Fundraising Information Group is an online forum to talk with other fundraisers, discuss fundraising issues, ask questions, view events and access publications. It is entirely free to join. You will receive automatic email updates when you sign up to the group (unless you choose not to receive them).

*When you join the Fundraising Information Group you will be entered into a free draw to win a year's subscription to Grant Tracker if you join by the end of 29 September 2009. A draw will take place on 30 September 2009. All people who a members of the Fundraising Information Group at the time will be eligible for the draw.

Fundraising News will still be fed into GrantTracker via news feeds from relevant other websites and some of the news on communityNI but to be sure you are not missing anything it would be worth joining the fundraising information group

Create Your Profile on www.communityni.org and don't forget to choose to join the Fundraising Information Group.

If you already subscribe to Grant Tracker and you win the draw - your subscription will be extended for a year for free. If you can't wait to sign up for Grant Tracker please contact us at grant.tracker@nicva.org or phone 028 9087 7777.
