Healthy Heart Grants - Heart Research UK
They currently only accept applications from small, registered charities and community interest companies with annual incomes of less than £1 million. Projects must work solely with adults and have a main focus on one or more of the following areas: healthy eating, physical activity, smoking or alcohol. Opens on 21 August and closes on 18 September.

Re-rooted Fund: Safety and Security for Refugees and Asylum Seekers | Comic Relief
This funding is for organisations that specialise in supporting refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.  Successful applicants to the Re-Rooted funding call will be offered flexible, core funding to continue and reinforce the work of their organisation. The application deadline is 12 noon on Tuesday 26th March 2024.

The7stars Foundation
The grants are targeted to further the potential and opportunity of children and young people who are surviving abuse, at risk of or experiencing homelessness, caring for a loved one, and challenged by addiction (either personally or through a member of their family). The foundation trustees meet four times a year to review grant applications the foundation has received and to make grant awards.

Current available grants: The Thomas Devlin Fund, RTÉ Toy Show Appeal Impact Grants Fund 2024, RTÉ Toy Show Appeal Community Grants Fund 2024 and The Gill’s Charity Fund.

The Froebel Trust
The Froebel Trust offers funding for research which builds upon and contributes to knowledge and understanding of Froebelian philosophy, principles and approaches, early childhood education and care. Seed corn grants of up to £5,000 and larger grants up to £10,000.

W.G.Edwards Charitable Foundation

The W G Edwards Charitable Foundation is an independent grant-making charity, which assists with the provision of care for older people. The Foundation assists with capital projects, refurbishment and equipment in addition to innovative schemes for ongoing care.  Grants usually between £1,000 to £3,000, with the average grant being £1,700.

Communicating Climate | Media Trust

The Weston Communicating Climate Programme supports UK environmental and climate charities to enhance the reach, power and impact of their communications.
This six month online programme gives charities free access to expert-led training, networking opportunities, resources and one-to-one sessions with media industry professionals to empower them to influence media discourse, policy and public sentiment on climate and environmental issues

Nuffield Foundation

The Nuffield Foundation Research, Development and Analysis Fund -  main focus is on Education, Welfare and Justice but many of the projects cut across and go beyond these broad domains. In particular, they are interested in funding research that takes account of the trends that are shaping today’s increasingly complex society.

NCFE 

Supported by NCFE and Ufi VocTech Trust, the next round of the Assessment Innovation Fund focuses on assessment within vocational education. The jointly supported fund will encourage the testing of learner-centric and adaptable assessment solutions, harnessing digital technology to create a more inclusive, robust, fairer, and reliable assessment experience.

The Weavers' Company

Weaver Company Benevolent Fund's principal aim is to support people in trouble, particularly young offenders and ex-offenders, and other disadvantaged young people. Preference is given to pump priming new projects, especially those which are innovatory and can serve as a model elsewhere.
