DCAL Opens Events Grants

DCAL has taken over administration of the Events Grants Schemes from the now defunct Northern Ireland Events Company.

Funding under the Events Growth Fund (EGF) aims to assist events to develop or grow into a Major or International event.  Funding under the Major Events Fund (MEF) is to assist large events that will attract significant out of state media coverage. All events must secure Private Sector sponsorship to be eligible for funding.

DCAL state that application forms along with guidance notes may be downloaded from their website.

The closing date and deadline for receipt of applications is: Friday 2 May 2008, no later than 5.00 pm.
