Department of Culture Arts and Leisure | Mon, 31/03/2008 - 15:41 | Neil Irwin
In response to a request from NICVA on the position of the Community Festivals Fund, NICVA has been informed by the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure (DCAL) that the transfer of responsibility of Community Festivals Fund to local councils takes effect from 1 April 2008. Letters of offer have gone out to each council.
The Events Unit at DCAL recommends that projects should contact the appropriate Council for details of its application process and opening dates.
