Belfast CC Peace III Expressions of Interest
Belfast City Council today announced invites for expressions of interest on the three themes and related actions within the Belfast Peace and Reconciliation Action Plan under Peace III Building Positive Relations at Local Level.
These three themes are:
Transforming Contested Space
- Local mediation Capacity Building Process
- Intercommunity Forum including dialogue on the removal of Interfaces
- Engagement Capacity Building
- Youth Intervention Programme
Shared Cultural Space
- City of Festivals
- Cultural Diversity in Sport
- Inter Faith Work
Shared Organisational Space
- Voluntary and Community Sector Programme
- Citizenship Education Programme
Expressions of Interest must be submitted on the Peace III EOI Form available at www.belfastcity.gov.uk/tenders
Guidance notes and the detailed Peace Plan for Belfast are available at www.belfastcity.gov.uk/peaceplan
Closing date for Expressions of Interest forms is 3pm on Monday 2 February 2009.
Submission of an Expression of Interest does not guarantee funding under the Peace Plan and each application must obtain an official receipt. All applications made by post must be by registered post or recorded delivery.
There will be a presentation on the themes and actions, followed by a question and answer session on 13 and 14 January in the Grovesnor Hall, Glengall Street, Belfast at 12.30pm and again at 2.30pm on both days.
