Beat the Recession with Standing Orders?

NICVA | Tue, 10/02/2009 - 10:21 | Neil Irwin

NICVA's Grant Tracker team has compiled a brief introductory article to explain how to fundraise using standing orders. Standing Orders may be a good way for organisations to beat the recession by introducing this as a new fundraising activity especially when combined with Gift Aid.

Standing Orders are an excellent way to receive regular donations from individuals in support of your cause. There is some evidence to suggest standing orders are not as vulnerable in a recession as other fundraising methods and techniques.

Standing Orders are a technique to promote committed or planned giving and are ideal for small community and voluntary organisations who have not the capacity to fundraise using Direct Debits.
