Beat the Credit Crunch with Gift Aid
NICVA's Training Course "Getting the Best from Gift Aid" aims to introduce Gift Aid as a fundraising technique to those who don’t currently use it and to open up potentially new ways of applying gift aid for those who already do.
Many are facing up not only to a credit crunch but a grant squeeze as more organisations chase funding from grants. Gift aid could offer a new or increased stream.

This short introductory training is provided by NICVA on 4 November 2008, 10.00am to 1.00pm and is open to all organisations across Northern Ireland.
This training focuses on getting the best from Gift Aid but also looks at payroll giving, share giving and legacy fundraising.
70% of eligible donations in 2008 were not gift aided. This represents an annual financial loss of £48.2 million that the sector could receive if all eligible donations were gift aided.
The course is promoted through NICVA's training programme and is available for a cost of £50 for NICVA members or £70 for non-members. For more information and to register for the event download the attached programme or contact Roisin Kelly on 028 9087 7777 or email: roisin.kelly@nicva.org.
Gift Aid enables charities to reclaim 28%+ on top of donations received yet many organisations are not using the scheme to its full potential and some are not using it at all.
