Arts Council Opens Application Window
The Arts Council of Northern Ireland has opened three 3 grants opportunities over March and April.
Musical Instruments for Bands Programme. This programme is designed to increase the quality of music-making in the community by helping bands to replace worn-out instruments and purchase new instruments. They opened for applications on 25 February 2009 and will close on 2 April 2009.
Project Funding Programme. The aim of this programme is to assist organisations to deliver arts projects which contribute to the growth of arts in the community for new and existing audiences and which reflect the diversity of Northern Ireland's society and culture. Applications will open on 23 March 2009 and close on 16 April 2009.
Public Art Programme. The Public Art Programme is designed to support the commissioning of new art for public places throughout Northern Ireland. Applications will open on 23 March 2009 and close on 16 April 2009.
More information is available on the Arts Council website, however for the programmes not presently open the guidelines do not yet appear to be updated.
