Craigavon, Armagh and Newry and Mourne district council have lauched the SOAR Partnership to deliver £17m of funding from the Rural Development Programme.

North West Rural Development Cluster Opens

The North West Rural Development Cluster is seeking expressions of interestfor funding from the Rural Development Programme from projects based in Derry City Council, Limavady Borough Council, Omagh District Council and Strabane District Council areas.

Only projects that demonstrate the capacity to fit one of the measures set out will receive funding.

South Western Rural Programme to Open

South Western Area Rural Development (SWARD) will open applications for Conservation and Upgrading of the Rural Heritage on 9 February. A tourism measure wil also open.

£13.5m for Down from Rural Development Programme

More than £13.5 Million has been confirmed for rural development projects in County Down in the next four years.

The investment for Down will be to Ards (lead Council), Banbridge, Down and North Down council areas and will be invested in initiatives which will help to improve the quality of life in rural communities.
