Belfast City Council supply a number of grants to help fund events and community activities throughout Belfast.  These cover areas such as summer schemes, community festivals, major sporting events and cultural diversity projects.

The Development Services Unit at Coleraine Borough Council recently held a Mayoral Reception to acknowledge the achievements of community and voluntary organisations which are in receipt of funding or who have participated in training facilitated through the Community Development Section within the Coleraine Borough Council area.
